Kassandra Davidson-Johnson

Graveside Service for Kassandra Ann Davidson-Johnson, age 57, was held Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 11:00am at Cooper Mission C.M.E. Church in Jachin, AL with Rev. Doc Lake officiating. 

Kassandra Ann Davidson-Johnson was born May 14, 1963 to the late Robert Lee Davidson and Marjorie Coleman Davidson in Sumter County, AL.  She departed this life on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Marjorie Davidson; a brother, Robert Earl Davidson; her grandparents, Monzer and Annie Lee Oliver Coleman; and a cousin/brother, Reginald Coleman.

Kassandra accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Lisman, AL.  She was a 1982 graduate of Choctaw County High School.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: one daughter, Iesha L. Pritchett; a granddaughter, Coreyana Hildreth of Ward, AL; three sons, Quinton (LaTasha) Davidson of Butler, AL, Jasper Johnson of Ward, AL, Javares Johnson of Ward, AL; a God-son, Eric President of Butler, AL; two sisters, Mary Davidson of Birmingham, AL, Marjorie (Robert) Wrenn of Bellamy, AL; one brother, Willie Davidson of Butler, AL; eleven grandchildren; an aunt and uncle who raised her as their own, Monzer, Jr. and Rachael Coleman of Ward, AL; three aunts; two uncles; three cousins who she was raise up with as siblings, Tony (Gwendolyn) Payton, Angela (Willie) Maye, Annie Gaston; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service was rendered by Weatherly-Studdard Memorial Funeral Home of Butler, AL.

Dannie Lee Frost

Graveside Service for Dannie Lee Frost, age 78, was held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Kaiser Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL with Rev. Lewis Jefferson officiating.

Dannie Lee Frost was born on February 17, 1943 to the late Prince and Mamie Lee Frost in Gilbertown, AL.  He departed this life and entered eternal rest on April 8, 2021 at the Elmore Community Hospital in Wetumpka, AL.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Frost, Sr. and Earnest Frost, Sr.; and a granddaughter, Karen Frost.

Dannie began his public service at age 14.  He was first employed by the General Box Company.  After that employment ended, he worked clearing right-of-way for power lines.  He later gained employment with Marathon Paper Mill (Georgia Pacific) in Pennington, AL.  He retired after 40 years with the company.  Dannie was a member of Queen Victoria Lodge #216 in Gilbertown, AL for over 40 years.  He served as a Jr. Warden.

Dannie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna Frost; sister, Charlie F. (L.C.) Foster of Albany, NY; daughter, Zina Ridgeway of Butler, AL; son, Anthony (Carolyn) Frost of Wetumpka, AL; four grandchildren, Kisha Frost, Terrance Q. Frost (Ashley), Kim (Christopher) Williams, all of Wetumpka, AL and Raven Ridgeway of Butler, AL; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relative and friends.
