Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Tyrone Carter, 65, were held Saturday, May 4, 2024 @ 11:30 am at Millwood Primitive Baptist Church in Pennington, AL with Rev. Marvin Johson officiating.  Interment followed in Woodall Cemetery in Pennington, AL.

Jackie T. Carter, better known as Jack, was born on November 20, 1958 to the late Nell Carter Spencer and Will Dukes.  He transitioned from this earthly life on April 24, 2024.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jeanette Young-Reese, Bernice Carter, Onnie Williams, Thelma Rembert; and brothers, Emanuel Spencer, Willie C. Dukes, Walter Dukes, Grady Dukes, Samie Dukes, John Kelly Dukes.

Jack leaves to cherish his precious memories: his daughter, Jacqueline Melissa Carter of Jackson, MS; sisters, Minnie Lee Carter and Vernice Carter of Tuscaloosa, AL, Annie Spears of Pennington, AL; brothers, Wilbert Carter, Leon Carter, both of Pennington, AL, William (Barbara) Bryant of Fredericksburg, VA, Johnny Lee President; a sister-in-law, Christine Mosley, of Pennington, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jeremiah Kinsey, 39, were held Saturday, April 27, 2024 @ 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Park Pavilion in Silas, Alabama with Pastor Randy Philon officiating.  Interment followed in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Silas, AL.

Jeremiah Kinsey was born on January 11, 1985 to Louise Thompson and the late Theotis Kinsey. He departed this life on April 16, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. 

Jeremiah was admired and loved by his family and friends.  He was a humble and kind person who always had such a big, beautiful smile.  He loved everyone.  He was a joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving mother, Louise Thompson; a sister, Deborah Kinsey; two nephews, Jayden and Javanta Foster; a devoted cousin, Andrew Johnson; a special friend, Maro Johnson; a special cousin, Jermica Thompson; four uncles, Joe Lewis (Helen) Thompson of Silas, AL, Johnny (Gladys) Kinsey of Dublin, GA, Keith Kinsey and Ricky Kinsey of Detroit, MI; eight aunts, one special aunt, Elnora (Lee Dale*) Nicholson, Maxie (Will) Woodard, Shirley (Theodore) McKinnis, Lottie (Willie*) Hill and Mary (Scottie) Simmons of Silas, AL, Francis (Lindsey) Nicholson of Toxey, AL, Jessie (Will*) Hill of Tampa, FL, Jackie Kinsey of Detroit, MI; and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
