Services for Mr. Bob Goines will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 @ 11:00am at New Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church located at 40439 AL-10, Sweetwater, AL 36782 with internment to follow in the church cemetery.

Bobby “Bob” Goines (affectionately known as Mr. Bob, Pops, Buddy, and PawPaw), was born May 17, 1945 to the late Bennie Robert Goines, Sr. and Icyphine Goines in Nanafalia, Alabama. Bob Goines accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church of Kenner, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 19, 2023.

Bob worked at several different occupations before capitalizing on his gift as an entrepreneur/owner/operator of Bob Goines Detailing, L.L.C. located in Metairie, Louisiana for the past 43 years. There, Bob served as a father-figure, mentor and life coach to family members and those within the community of Jefferson Parish and Orleans Parish, offering job opportunities to many willing to learn the detailing business. Because of his unique management style and steadfast work ethic, Bob was recognized as an Honorary Chairman for the Business Advisory Council by the National Republican Congressional Committee. He received an Award of Excellence from the Better Business Bureau and he was recognized on numerous occasions as the owner/operator of a Premier Service Company by THECityofNewOrleans.com. Bob was also featured in the Times-Picayune after gaining notoriety for having cars “Looking Like New” after being detailed at his business.

Bob is survived by his wife, Odessa Smith Goines of Butler, Alabama. He will be cherished and remembered by his seven (7) children: Amanda Babb (Charles) of Boca Raton, Florida, Robbie Goines of Butler, Alabama, Terry Goines, Sr. (Karlisa) of Keller, Texas, Latasha M. Goines of Mansfield, Texas, Bobby T. Goines (Lakisha) of Meridian, Mississippi, Francesca (Frannie) Addison of River Ridge, Louisiana, and LaRon Addison of New Orleans, Louisiana; his grandchildren: Terry Goines, Jr., Austin Lockett, Ashley Kennedy (Jeremiah), Faith Goines, Tamara Goines, Sidarius Goines, Landon Goines, and Malik Addison; great-grandchild: Erika Amanda Kennedy; siblings: Vivian Smith, Bennie Goines, and Janice Keeton; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and business associates. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bennie Robert Goines, Sr. and Icyphine Goines; three (3) sisters: Lucille Chaney, Nellie Rivers, and Aller Blanks; four (4) brothers: Simon Jefferson (Billy) Goines, John Eddie Goines, Joseph Goines, and James Nelson Goines.

Funeral Service for Ms. Deloach will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 1:00pm at Little Walker C.M.E. Church located at 220 Linder Rd, Butler, AL 36904 with repose one hour prior to service at the church. Pastor Vernon Burroughs will be officiating. Interment will follow in Little Walker C.M.E. Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 from 5-7pm at Weatherly-Studdard Memorial Funeral Home located at 111 Vanity Fair Av, Butler, Alabama 36904.

Stephanie Levette Deloach was born October 27, 1972, in Butler, AL to Mr. James Earl Deloach and the late Mrs. Lillie Gray Deloach. She transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home on August 29, 2023, at Ochsner Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother and both her paternal and maternal grandparents.

 Stephanie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to those who knew her.

 Stephanie is survived by her loving father James Deloach; three beautiful daughters: Kienna (Travis) Pace, Kierra Ruffin, and Jataura Deloach; two sisters and one brother: Lekita (Maurice) Burnett, Tomika Deloach, and Shondray Deloach; five grandsons: Ashton, Amari, Travis Jr, River, Jacarris; one niece, Shelia; one nephew, Maurice Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
