Willie B. "Toot" Wilcox was born on December 31, 1931, in Butler, Alabama, to the late Malvenia Thomas and the late Arthur "Thumpy" Davis.

She was preceded in death by her son, Coyett Wilcox; her daughter, Alexis Eddie; her brothers, Dewey "Sonny" Wilcox, Jimmy Wilcox, and Lecille Davis; and sister, Laurene Wilcox Doss.

Willie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Butler Chapel AME Zion Church, where she remained a faithful member throughout her life.

She worked as a housekeeper and later served as a cook and cashier at a local store for many years. Willie had a passion for cooking, often sharing her recipes with family and friends. She found joy in helping others, but above all, she cherished her family.

Willie peacefully departed this life on March 11, 2026, at Arabella Nursing Home in Butler, Alabama, at the age of 94.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her son, Alyousis "Skippy" (Cindy) Wilcox (Seattle, WA); her grandchildren, Jamahl Wilcox (Seattle, WA); Evander Tyrell Eddie (Abilene, TX); Patrick Wilcox (Seattle, WA) and Dominique Cole (Seattle, WA); sister, Mitchell Spears (Lisman, AL); her godson James Ruffin and a host of devoted cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
