Funeral services for Willie H. Law, age 79, will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Thomas AME Zion Church located at 7435 Pine Grove Rd in Ward, AL. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 4:30 – 6:30pm at Weatherly-Studdard Memorial Funeral Home located at 111 Vanity Fair Av, Butler, AL.

Willie H. Law was born to Lee Major and Ida Mae Harris on June 8, 1944 in Choctaw County, Alabama. She was the fourth child of fourteen wonderful siblings. She shared a special bond with each of them. She transitioned from her earthly home on July 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Law, after 49 years of marriage.

During her lifetime, she was a deaconess and Sunday school teacher at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church.

Willie leaves five children to cherish her memories and honor her life: Stacy Law, Dondra (Will) Evans, Durwin (Natasha) Law, LeeVette (Clifton) Curtis, and Debra (Cedric) Butler. Willie also was an amazing grandmother to her eight grandchildren who affectionately call her "G-Nanny".
