Funeral Service for Mr. Walter Lee Fluker, age 52, was held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church in Ward, AL with Pastor Linda S. Lilly officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Walter Lee Fluker was born February 11, 1971 to the late Walter and Rosie Mae Fluker. He was called home to rest on November 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sandra Fluker.

Walter accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended Choctaw County High School and subsequently attended Job Corps. He worked for the City of Bessemer, Alabama. He later developed his love for landscaping and turned it into a thriving business.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a son, Trace Kirkland; five sisters, Minnie Woodward, Brenda Fluker, Myrlean (Larry) Fleming, Rosa Ann (Orlando) Ridgeway, Lois Eutten; two brothers, Andrew (Debra) Fluker, Wayne C. Fluker; a brother-in-law, Kayode Adeleke; and several special friends, Trinidell Hughes, Tommy, Edward, louis; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
