Service for Uearl D. Hill, age 58, was held Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Lisman, AL with Rev. Johnny Payton officiating.

Uearl D. was born December 29, 1962 to Arthur and Lenette Grice. She departed this earthly life on January 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Grice; a daughter; a stepson, Victor Hill; grandparents, Richard and Willie Mae Grice, Andrew and Louise Brown; her mother-in-law, Sallie Hill; four brothers; and a brother-in-law.

Uearl D. joined Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was a faithful member until the Lord called her home. She served in the usher ministry and taught missionary studies until she became ill.

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Charlie James Hill; her mother, Lenette Grice of Lisman, AL; three daughters, Lynette Phillips of Arlington, TX, Michelle (DeMarcus) Ruffin of Lisman, AL, Octavia Hill of Livingston, AL; five stepchildren, Victoria Hill, Dasmon Hill, Edward (Lojuanda) Hill, Charlie James Hill, Jr., Jerome Hill; six grandchildren, Nechelle Ruffin, Miracle Ruffin, Hannah Phillips, Paris Lewis, Rylee Lewis, Antoria Lewis; six siblings; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; her best friend, Janice Bryant; her reared grandchild, Alyssa
Thomas; and a host of other relatives and life-long friends.
