Cemetery in Pennington, AL with Brother Jamell Richardson officiating.

Susie was born on November 11, 1961 to the late Minnie Thomas and Tommy James in Pennington, AL. The book of life for Susie closed on
September 24, 2021. She was preceded indeath by her parents and other close relatives.

Susie accepted Christ and joined the Millwood Primitive Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Sarasota High School in Sarasota, FL.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: three daughters, Achieva (David) Phillips of Virginia, Shawndreka (Derrick Ruffin) Carter of Tuscaloosa, AL, Lakisha Thomas of Sarasota, FL; her stepchildren, Bertha, Evelyn, Delois, Lisa, Kendrick, Johnny, John Jr.; grandchildren, Kenisha, Alayla, Makinley, Camilla, David, JR., Kyle Noah; stepfather, Dardia Burke; brothers, Joe Lewis Thomas "Joe Lee Burke",
James Burke, Raymond Burke, Keith Cocroft, all of Sarasota, FL, Anthony (Michelle) Parker of Chicago, IL, David Green of Lorain,, OH; her sisters, Frances William "Donna Jenkins" and Lashedra Grable of Sarasota, FL, Pamela Campbell of Chicago, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
