Celebration of Life Services for Sidney DeWayne "BoBo" Thomas was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 178 Mt. Olive Road, Butler, Alabama.  Minister Oliver Whitted, Officiating.  Interment, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sidney DeWayne "BoBo" Thomas was born in Meridian MS on January 21, 1982, to the parents of Samuel Thomas of Nanafalia, AL and Costella Thomas of Butler, AL.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Sidney DeWayne "BoBo" Thomas peacefully entered into eternal rest at his residence in Butler, AL.

"BoBo" graduated from Choctaw County High School, Butler, AL with the Class of 2002.  He also furthered his education and graduated from Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, AL, where he received a degree in Auto Body & Repair in 2004.  He held many jobs in his lifetime.  He was employed with Southern Clearing in Butler, Alabama, until his health failed.

"BoBo" is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Isabella and Homer Dubose, Minnie and Eugene Thomas, and his niece, Precious Thomas.

During his lifetime, "Bobo" loved having fun, and living everyday like it was his last; to know him was to love him.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his 9 kids: Brianna, Ciana, Rihanna, Sidney Jr., Kenton, Aaliyah, Amber, Jaliyah, and Jordan.

"BoBo" is survived by his parents: Samuel and Costella Thomas; four siblings: Keena (Carlos) Kelly, of Nanafalia, AL; Eric (Lakesia) Dubose, Pennington, AL; Samantha Thomas of Butler, AL; LaSonya Thomas, of Nanafalia, AL; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends; he also leaves a devoted friend and cousin, Shondray Deloach.
