Graveside Service for Sherry Duff-Dunn was held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:00a.m. at Brookins-Taylor Memorial Gardens.

Sherry Faye Washington was born on July 9, 1958 to Raymond and Floree Washington in Chatom, AL. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Raymond and Floree Washington; two brothers, Lamar and
Ron Washington; a nephew, Jeremy Washington; a brother-in-law, Joe Roberts; and an aunt, Nathrea Orange.

Sherry attended WashingtonCounty Elementary and High School. She later married Raymond Duff and moved to Butler. She confessed Christ during her marriage and was a devoted member of Apostolic Faith Temple II and Evangel Tabernacle Worship Center. She received her GED at Tom Orr Vocational Center. She later started working at the Choctaw County Board of Education. Sherry became a certified nurse assistant and worked varied jobs including ATC Life Care, Willow Trace, and Adduss. In May 2008, Sherry married John W. Dunn (JW)
and remained married to him until her departure from this life.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, John Dunn, Pennington, AL; four children, Rhonda Duff, Michelle Duff, Raymond Duff Jr., and Christine (David) McSwain; seven grandchildren, Malcolm Capers, Tia Ridgeway, Tianna Ridgeway, Orion McSwain, Tristen Weakley, Omari McSwain, Sekani McSwain; one brother; eight sisters; one dedicated friend,Brenda Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, and other relatives.
