Funeral Service for Mother Rosa L. Williams was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's United Methodist Church, 23955 Highway 10, Butler, Alabama 36904. Rev. Gerald Goodman, Officiating. Interment, St. Mary's United Methodist Church Cemetery, Butler, Alabama.
On March 22, 1937, a daughter was born to Lee and Jessie Barron, would be named, Rosa L. At an early age, she joined St. Mary's United Methodist Church.
While growing into a beautiful woman, she married Frank Williams at a young age. To
this union four children were born. When she was much younger, she wore many hats.
She departed this earthly life on September 16, 2025, at her home in the Little Walker
Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Jessie Barron; her
husband, Frank Williams; her daughter, Yolanda Williams; her son, David Williams;
grandson, Theodore Willis; her siblings, Roosevelt, Mamie, and Joe.
Precious memories will be remembered by: her three daughters, Polly (Walter) Gavin,
Angela "Boo" Hitson, both of Cleveland, Ohio; Tora "Tammy" Williams of Warren,
Michigan; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Mandy Barron of
Inkster, Michigan; four devoted nieces, Chris, Tot, Lisa, and Mechelle; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends, and her High Inergy Social Club Sisters.
