Celebration of Life Services for Robert Earl DeLoach were held @ 1:00pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 43323 Hwy 17, Jachin, AL 36922 where Rev. Sammie Bourrage serves as Pastor and Rev. Ecclesiastes Goodwin, Sr. served as Eulogist. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Robert DeLoach, Sr. was born August 21, 1959, in Butler, Alabama to the late Mary DeLoach and the late Joe Edward DeLoach.
He graduated from Choctaw County High School in 1978. After graduation, he furthered his education at the Mississippi School of Arts and Technology where he sharpened his skills in the trades and technical disciplines. He also attended Antonelli College in Jackson, Mississippi.
Robert dedicated 22 years of service to Georgia Pacific where he worked as a machine operator and later rose to the role of supervisor. His strong work ethic, calm leadership, and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues. Robert retired in 2003 leaving a lasting legacy of excellence and commitment.
On September 7, 1997, Robert married Denise Grant. Together they blended their families together with four wonderful children: Brenetta DeLoach; Robert Earl DeLoach, Jr.; LaShonda Grant; and Shonquitta Bryant. They also welcomed a baby boy of their own, Daquan DeLoach.
Robert Earl DeLoach, Sr. passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS at the age of 65. He was preceded in death his parents; five brothers, Joe DeLoach, James DeLoach, Maurice DeLoach, Curtis DeLoach, and Darren DeLoach.
Robert is survived by his wife, Denise DeLoach; his children; his siblings, Edward Deloach, Jerome DeLoach (Vicky), Lloyd DeLoach (Jonal), Bennie Crosby, and Annie Watkins (Percy); his mother-in-law, Mary Grant; and three grandchildren, Zada Bryant, Robert E. DeLoach, III, and Beau DeLoach; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
