Funeral Services for Patricia Cameron James were held Saturday, October 5, 2024 @ 12:00 noon at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church located at 12379 County Rd 32, Lisman, AL 36912 with Pastor Willie Chaney officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Lisman, AL.

Patricia Cameron James was born March 8, 1945 to the late John Lee and Mary Benson Cameron. She departed this earthly life on September 28, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents; Benny James Sr.; her siblings, Lillie Mae Raibon, Thomas K. Cameron, Clare Hearn, Earlene Stewart, Wesley Cameron, Willie F. Cameron and John Lewis Cameron.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memory: five children, Felicia (Willie) Chaney, Pennington, AL, Yvette (Michael) Maddox, Hoover, AL, Sheila (W.C. Sr.) Horton, Brandon, MS, Benny (Michelle) James Jr., Wilmington, NC and Darrin James, Sr, Suffolk, VA; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, with one on the way; and her siblings, Josephine Spears, Doris Williams, Charles Cameron, Earnest Cameron (Annie), Thomas B. Cameron,  Richard Cameron; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
