Graveside Service for Myra Anderson Marzette, age 65, was held Thursday, August 26, 2022, at 1:00pm at Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Kennith Jefferson officiating.

Myra was born on October 24, 1956 to the late Sylvester and Rosetta Miller Anderson. She transitioned to her heavenly father on
August 18, 2022. Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Rosetta Anderson; in-laws, Odell and Ludie Pearl Marzette; and four brothers, Marvin Miller, Hilton Anderson, Cecil Anderson, and Danny Anderson.

Myra became a member of Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church at an early age and served as an active member until her death. She graduated from Choctaw County High School in 1975 and went on to obtain her nursing degree. Most of her nursing career was spent as the Director of Nursing at Hill Hospital in York, AL; and until her retirement, she served as the Director of Nursing of Green County Hospital in Eutaw, AL.

On June 20, 1981, Myra married the love of her life, Larry Marzette, and they shared their lives together for forty-one years.

Myra leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Larry; sons, Larry (Gabrielle) and Tony; grandsons, Landon and Trey; sisters, Pat Parker,
Opal Landrum (Howard), Alatha Stokes (Richard-deceased), Jackie Killings; brothers, James Anderson (Darlene-deceased), Michael Anderson; sisters-in-law, Betty Ann Jackson, Valerie Marzette-Jones (Bobby); brother-in-law, Ronnie Marzette; a host of nieces, nephews, four maternal aunts, cousins, and friends.
