The Celebration Service for Michael Scott Williams, age 51, was held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00pm at New Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church in Sweet Water, AL with Rev. Kelvin Johnson officiating. Interment followed In the church cemetery.
Michael Scott Williams (Kojak) was born November 7, 1971 to the late Linnie Earl Williams and the late Willie Earl Jones, Sr. in Butler, AL. He departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers, Darryell Williams, Willie Jones, Jr., Michael Williams; sisters, Gloria Jones, Pamela Jones; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael, lovingly known as Kojak, confessed Christ at an early age and joined New Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church I Nanafalia, AL. He was an avid hunter and gun collector. He worked in the logging business as for several years as an operator. His most recent job was with Horn Logging, LLC in Thomasville, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memories: sisters, Shenetta Don-Pedro, Riverdale, GA, Arlisa Williams, Jonesboro, GA, Sheila (Ronald) Gamble, Nanafalia, AL, Connie Williams, College Park, GA, Shirley (William) Crockett, Kalamazoo, MI, Glenda (Joseph) Quinney, Dixons Mills, AL, Michelle Williams, Thomasville, AL; brother, Jeremy Jowers, Thomasville, AL; sisters-in-law, Jaqueline Williams, Chavelle Williams; six aunts; god grandson, Braeden Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
