Service for Mary Nell Prestage, age 64, was held Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 1:00p.m. at Millwood Primitive Baptist Church in Pennington, AL with Pastor Marvin Johnson officiating. Interment followed at
Woodall Cemetery.

Deaconess Mary "Marinell" Prestage was born April 15, 1957 to Susie and the late Benjamin Rembert, Sr. She departed this life on March 31,
2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Rembert, Sr., and her brothers, Benjamin, Carl, and Dewayne Rembert.

Mary confessed Christ at an early age and joined Jerusalem Baptist Church in Myrtlewood, AL where she
remained a faithful member for many years.

She was a graduate of Choctaw County High School in Butler, AL. After graduating high school, she married Deacon Earnest Prestage. She then joined Millwood Primitive Baptist Church, serving as a member of the Deaconess Board, Pastor's Aide, Usher Board, and supporter of many church activities. She was also a graduate of Alabama Southern Community College.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Deacon Earnest Prestage of Pennington, AL; her son, Sumaklos (Tonya) Rembert; her daughter, LaWanda; her mother, Susie Rembert; her bother, Timothy; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
