Funeral Service for Lisa Ruffin Davis was held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, 2200 Highway 10, Lisman, Alabama with Rev. Jasper Irby, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2008 Mt. Mariah Road, Lisman, Alabama.
Lisa Ruffin Davis Jones was born on June 2, 1972, to the late Annie and Raymond Ruffin. She gained her beautiful wings and went home to glory on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Lisa was preceded in death her two sons: Antraun Davis and Laron Brooks; her two brothers: Bennie Ruffin and Jerome Carlisle; her two sisters: Darnell Pritchett and Barbara Bolden.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband: James Jones of Lisman, Alabama; one son: Cordarrell (Latia) Ruffin of Newport News, Virginia; six grandsons: Isaiah Brooks, Antraun Brooks, and Jordan Brooks of Lisman, Alabama; Ayden Matthews, Aiden Joseph and Amari Ruffin of Newport News, Virginia; one brother: Willie Ruffin, Sr. of Lisman, Alabama; four sisters: Johnny Faye (Warren Brown) of York, Alabama, Jacqueline Wilson, Latonya (Zachariah) Spears and Kewana Chaney of Lisman, Alabama; two aunts: Margaret Ruffin and Hettie Jean Ruffin; one devoted uncle: Herbert Ruffin of Ohio; mother-in-law: Earlean Scott, California; two sisters-in-laws: Debra Ruffin and Carolyn Holley; two brothers-in-law: Greg Holley and Carliss Holley; two special nephews, who was just like her sons: Esdras and Rian Perez; one devoted friend: Jackie Tanks; a host of devoted and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will truly be missed by all whose life she touched.
