Funeral Services for Linda F. Whitted will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026 @ 3:00pm at Butler Chapel AME Zion Church located at 713 Desoto Rd, Butler, AL with Elder Oliver Whitted, Jr  officiating. Rev. Kennith Jefferson serves as Pastor. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

Linda Faye Whitted was born Oct.24, 1964 to the late Johnny Elmore and Mary Alice Whitted in Butler, Alabama. She departed her life on April 29, 2026 at her residence in Birmingham, Alabama.

Linda was preceded in death by her (late) husband Freddie Ruffin, her parents Johnny E. and Mary Alice Whitted, a daughter Sherri Whitted, 3 brothers Dale Devon, Johnny Whitted Jr., William Whitted, and a grandson Daniel Haynes, Jr.

Linda is survived by: 1 daughter Adrienne Whitted, Ft. Worth, TX; 1 son Roderick Whitted (Butler, AL); grandchildren - Topanga Kirkland (Peachtree, AL), Deandrea, Roderick, Jr., and Deshawn Whitted (Butler, AL), Omarion, Santasia, Lynderion, Lyndon, Lynderia, Lyndia (Ft. Worth, TX), and Jacob Bolden (Cromwell, AL); 4 great-grandchildren; 4 Sisters: Callie Mae Johnson (Huntsville, AL), Cynthia (Foster) Nelson (Meridian, MS), Debbie Sue (Burnett) Singleton (Hagerstown, MD), Annie (Clinton) Smith (Butler, AL). 1 Brother: Marvin (Tiffini) Whitted (Montgomery, AL). 1 Special Friend: James Carradine (Birmingham, AL), And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends plus a special cousin.
