A Memorial Service honoring Lecia DuBose Ray, 59, of Pennington, Alabama, was held Sunday, August 18, 2024 @ 1:00pm at Bobby's Community Center located at 218 Marzette Rd, Pennington, AL  36916.

Lecia DuBose Ray was born on January 28, 1965 to the late Prince DuBose, Jr. and Adell DuBose.  She peacefully passed away at home on August 15, 2024.

Lecia dedicated her life to serving God, becoming one of Jehovah's Witness in 1990 and remained unwavering in her faith throughout her life and volunteered her time as a Bible teacher,, helping others learn about her faith and.  She also served as a construction servant, contributing her skills to various building projects.

She is survived by her loving husband, Reuben Ray; her children Larry Lavon Bush, Candace MeChele Bush; a large devoted family consisting of: her brother, Calvin (Anela) DuBose; sisters, Gladys Amerson Delois (Julius) Scott, Ellen (Husain) Shaheed, Lakesha DuBose; nephew, Curtis Amerson; nieces, Demetra (Anthony) Crawford, Detrice (Edwin) Bell, Shana DuBose, Jessica DuBose; great nephews, Damian Crawford, Devin Crawford; and great niece, Shianne DuBose.

Lecia was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon DuBose and Michael DuBose.
