Service for Julia M. Williams, age 68, was held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00am at Wahalak Baptist Church in Butler, AL with Pastor Shern Collins officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Julia (Moss) Williams was born on August 2, 1953 to the late Charlie Moss, Sr. and Lettie Johnson Moss. She departed this life on December 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Williams; her parents; four brothers, Charlie Moss Jr., Roger A. Moss, Willie Earl Moss, B.C. Moss; and three sisters, Louise Dillard, Evelyn Joyce Moss, Christine Oliver.

Julia was a loving, hard working member of the community. She would help anyone in need and she took care of those she loved. She was an active member of her church until she became ill. Julia was retired from Clarkco State Park.

Julia leaves to cherish her memory: a sister, Dorothy L. Cooper of Meridian, MS; a brother, John Henry Moss (Alice) of Chicago, IL; nieces, Annell Baylor, Jo Ann Dillard; nephew, Charles Moss Sr. (Ruby) of Butler, AL; special nieces, Latosha Toole Tillman (Aaron), Sehvondia Moss of Meridian, MS; great nieces, Quinnesha, Kiera, ShaQuenta; great nephews, Aarion Tillman and L.C. Ruffin; a stepdaughter, Takeysha; stepson, James F. Williams of Nashville, TN; and a host of other relatives including her fur child, Forty-Four.
