WSMFH acknowledges the passing of Mr. Joseph Zeigler, Jr., 83, of Pennington, Alabama. Mr. Zeigler passed at his home in Pennington on March 22, 2025.

Abiding by his wishes, Mr. Zeigler has been peacefully put to rest and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Zeigler is survived by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Mrs. Lina F. Zeigler of Pennington, Alabama; a devoted Nephew/Son,  Mr. Blakely C.Barton (Marty Crawford-Barton) and children, Alexander B. (Tiffany) and Alexis; and their granddaughter daughter, Carsyn Alivia Barton all of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and a Brother-in-Law, Mr. David Fountain of Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Zeigler was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. Joseph Zeigler, Sr. and Mrs. Lonnie Kate M. Zeigler of Macon, Georgia and one brother, Kenneth B. of New York, New York.
