Johnny Orleando Brooks departed this life on April 13, 2026. He was born on April 15, 1975, to the late Claretha Turner and Johnny Lewis Brooks.

At an early age, he confessed Christ and joined Mt. Mariah Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grand-mother, Alice Ruth Ruffin; grandfather, Marline Traylor; three aunts, Annie N. Ruffin, Hettie M. Ruffin and Annie B. Ruffin; and two uncles, Hugh Blanks Ruffin and Henry Ruffin.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories; two daughters, Jocelyn Brooks and J'ohnee Brooks; two sons, Johnny Brooks Jr. and J'onn Brooks; one sister, Loretha Ruffin; like a sister, Debbie Dixon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
