Jazzie Janay Holland was born November 6, 1986 to John Franklin and Kathy Thompson of San Antonio, TX. She departed this life on June 21, 2024 in Long Beach, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her father, John Franklin; grandparents, Marian Hall, John (Beverly) Thompson; and two brothers, Antwan Thompson and Johntay Horton.
Jazzie confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Lisman, Alabama under the leadership of Pastor Marvin L. Dixon. She completed elementary and secondary education in the Choctaw County School system, graduating with the Class of 2005. She furthered her education by becoming employed as an Intake Coordinator at Gulf Coast Vascular Care Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Jazzie was united in Holy Matrimony to Jessie "Tay" Holland, and to this union two daughters were born, Jakiyah (Christan) and Jalani Holland, both of Long Beach, MS and raising another one, Nikouri Thompson (Kai) of San Antonia, TX.
Jazzie leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Jessie Holland; daughters, Jakiyah, Jalani, and Nikouri; mother, Kathy Thompson of San Antonio, TX; her parents, Henry (Leticia) Horton of Meridian, MS; sisters, Diashan (Tyrone) Thompson, Shaquanda (Sanai) Franklin and Nikka Thompson, all of San Antonio, TX, Valeria (Mike) Robinson of Ronald County, TX; brothers, James (Jessica) Thompson of Montgomery, AL and Melvin Taylor of Ronald County, TX; in-laws, Jesse (Betty) Holland, Labarron (Juanita) Holland, Terrell Holland, Latricia Burton, and Jessica Jackson; best friends, Salina Shield, Aston (Dee) Lurry; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
