Service for James Wesley Rembert, Jr., age 71, was held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Cooper Mission C.M.E. Church in Jachin, AL with Rev. C. Snowden officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

James Wesley "JW" Rembert, Jr. was born November 10, 1951 to the parents of Lucille and James Rembert, Sr. He departed this earthly life on September 17, 2023 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and James Rembert, Sr.; daughter, Laura Rembert; grandson, Trent Walker; and siblings Dian and Michael Rembert.

At an early age, James accepted Christ and became a member of Cooper Mission CME Church. He obtained his early education from East Choctaw High School and went on to graduate from Shelton State Community College with a degree in Electrical. Although he progressed in his trade in electrical, he soon began a successful career at General Motors. He retired after 30 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Ruth Rembert; sons, MacArthur Rembert (Marisha), LaShawn Rembert, Tony Brown, and Demarco Womble in which they raised as their own; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three sisters; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; close friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, god children; and other family members and friends.
