Clovis Snowden, Officiating. Rev. Aquilla Pack, Pastor. Interment, St. Mary United MethodistChurch Cemetery, 23955 Highway 10, Butler, Alabama.
James Carl Mosley, Sr. was born on December 17, 1950, in Choctaw County, Alabama to the late Willie James Mosley and the late Dorothy Mae Mosley. He departed this life on March 16, 2025, at his home in Butler, Alabama.
At an early age, Carl joined Salem Baptist Church. Carl worked many years as a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, five brothers, two sisters, five nephews, and four nieces.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Vera Mosley of Butler, Alabama; one son, James Carl Mosley, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama; three step-sons: Garvin Carter of Lavaca, Alabama; Andretti (Margaret) Carter of Lavaca, Alabama; Jimmy Carter of Bay Point, California; three grandchildren: Asia Mosley of Sweetwater, Alabama; Cameron Warren and Aria Mosley, both of Montgomery, Alabama; two brothers: Chester Mosley of Butler, Alabama; Danny Mosley of Lisman, Alabama; three sisters: Willie Maye, Jacquelyne Howard and Glynis Mosley, all of Butler, Alabama; six brothers-in-law, eight sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
