Funeral service for Ida Veigh Graham, age 60, was held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from the Chapel of Weatherly-Studdard Memorial Funeral Home in Butler, AL. Interment following at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery in Toxey, AL.

Ida V. Graham, affectionately known as "Lucy", was born April 25, 1962 to Jesse Manuel Graham and the late Virginia Sargent Graham.
She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Although Lucy was born with a diagnosis that classified her as disabled, her life was filled with achievements that just could not e classified specifically, among those were her ability to perform independent self-care , master her food preferences, and identifying every CD in her vast collection of music without ever knowing how to read. These abilities afforded her the opportunity to attend a school for those with certain limitations.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Jesse (Anne) Graham; a brother, Albert L. Graham of Toxey, AL and a sister, Bishop Shirley Graham Williams of New York, NY. She is also survived by four nieces, Jasmine, Jessica, Jala and Shareena; three aunts, Mary Louise, Mary Virginia and Peggy; one cherished friend, Ella Mae Cade; and a host of cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
