Graveside Services for Georgia Mae Doss Dixon were held Saturday, January 25, 2025 @ 12:00 noon at James Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery in Pennington,!AL with Pastor Richard White officiating.

Georgia was born August 2, 1950 in Myrtlewood, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Pearl Doss; her father, Lewis Gaines; two brothers; Ira Lee Doss and Harold Doss; one sister; Naomi Doss.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; step-father: Robert Lee Bryant of Jachin, AL; two sisters: Nora Lee Cade and Babette Lynn Doss and one brother: Leonard Doss all of Pennington, AL; four children: Rhedeshia (Thonia) Rowe of Pennington, AL, Georgia Ann Doss of Butler, AL, Johnny Micheal Doss of Pennington, AL and Melvin (Yolanda) Dixon of Sipsey, AL. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews,
