Funeral Service for Gary Kenwick Whitted was held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 713 Desoto Road, Butler, Alabama.  Interment, Butler Chapel A.M.E. Gary Kenwick Whitted was born May 19, 1986, in Meridian, Mississippi to Mr. Willie Whitted, Jr. and Mrs. Carolyn Eddie Whitted.  He departed this life on October 21, 2025, at Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa, Arizona.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Butler Chapel A.M.E. Zion        Church, Butler, AL.

Gary was a graduate of the Choctaw County High School, Butler, Alabama, Class of 2004.  Gary was employed at Foresight Technologies.  His passions included his children, music, and Horticulture.  He became an expert in the specialized area of exotic plants.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Willie (Ora Dee) Whitted, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Sanders (Carrie) Eddie, Jr.

Gary leaves to cherish his memories: a loving father, Willie Whitted, Jr., and his mother, Carolyn Eddie Whitted; 5 children: Gary Kenwick Whitted, Jr., Columbus, GA; Shalea Gariel Whitted; Serenity Monique Whitted and Scarlet Gabrielle Whitted, Lawrenceville, GA; Kaizon Emanuel Whitted, Mesa, AZ; two brothers: Willie Whitted III, Butler, AL; Patrick (Marci) Whitted, Charlotte, NC; one sister: Vickey Whitted, Butler, AL; aunts, Mary A.
