Bro. Freddie Eugene Watson was born on December 09, 1949, in Choctaw County to Ms. Georgia Crowell and Mr. Freddie Watson, Sr. He is the oldest of two children. At an early age, his aunt, Mrs. Bertha Beaver raised him and his siblings along with her children. Eugene attended Choctaw County Training School in Lisman, AL. He joined John The Baptist Church in Halsell, AL. at an early age. He later met Sis. Mary Watson, who became his wife in 1993.

Known for his compassion and unwavering spirit, Bro. Eugene Watson touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and selfless nature. He found joy in spending time with family, and working various jobs.

Bro. Eugene Watson leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife, Sis. Mary Watson; two step children; six step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sis. Margaret Fitch & Sis. Deatrice Crowell; two brothers, Bro. Curvin Crowell & Bro. Lee Beaver; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
