Graveside Service for Eunice Crowell Grice, age 65, was held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00am at Brookins-Taylor Memorial Gardens, Inc. with Rev. Charles Brookins Taylor, Sr. serving as Eulogist.

Eunice Crowell Grice was born July 16, 1957 to the late J.B. and Elmer Crowell. She departed this life on April 25, 2023 at Ochsner Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. & Elmer Crowell; brothers, Medell Banks, Larry Whitted; and a "fur baby", Snowy.

Eunice was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Butler, AL and taught Sunday School for teenagers at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, Butler, AL. She was a 1976 graduate of Choctaw County High School and attended Alabama A&M University where she majored in Family & Consumer Sciences. She taught at York West End Elementary School in York, AL for twenty-nine years. She retired from education in 2011.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Milton Grice, Sr., Butler, AL; daughter, Starritha Grice, Columbia, SC; son, Milton Grice, Jr., Butler, AL; grandchildren, Lia, Levon, Hailey, D.D., Tupac, Miss Pimping, and Aminah; sibling, Aloyius Wilcox, Butler, AL; mother-in-law, Dardanelle Williams; sisters-in-law, Christine Banks, Sharon Anderson (Rodney) and Ann Jones; brothers-in-law, Edward (Cheryl) Grice, Hubert Thompson; beloved "fur baby", Malcolm; two devoted cousins, Dot Blanks and Elmer Mosley; dear friends, Patricia Miller and Sandra Tuck; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
