Funeral Service for Ella Lee Grayson Cunningham was held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 352 Pleasant Chapel Church Road, Silas, Alabama.  Pastor Jaylon Hundley, Officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Silas, Alabama.

Ella Lee Grayson was born to the late Freeman T. Grayson and Betsy Grayson on November 12, 1940, in Womack Hill, Alabama.  She departed her life on February 20, 2026, in Meridian, Mississippi.

She was united in marriage to Roy Cunningham.  To this union, five children were born.

Ella Lee was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Cunningham; oldest son: Grady; five sisters: Ernestine, Abbie, Betsy Jane, Mary Louise, and Melvina; three brothers: Elijah, Johnnie, and Richard.

Ella leaves to cherish her precious memories, three devoted daughters: Gracie C. Pickens (Henry Lewis), Ella Ree Cunningham, and Annie R. Cunningham (Willie); one devoted son: Roy Cunningham, Jr.; grandchildren: Martina, Grady, Jr., and Marvelous Marquez; three great-grandchildren: Zoi, Cash, and Diezel; two sisters: Freedonia Ray and Margaret Henry; one daughter-in-law, Doris Cunningham; four sisters-in-law: Claudia Mae Cunningham, Ruby Lee McGrew, Vina Mae Cunningham, and Betty R. Cunningham; one brother-in-law, James Tyson; a host of nieces, nephews, bonus children, and special friends.
