Douglas Williams

Douglas Williams was born May 8, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Izetta Lewis and Earnest Jackson. He passed on March 4, 2026 at Ochsner-Rush Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his parents. Izetta Lewis and Earnest Jackson; his wife, Darlene; stepdaughter, Shayron; granddaughter, April; and four siblings, Marian Williams, Ronnie Hall, Patrica Walker, and Amy Hall.

Known for his kindness, love, and genuine care for others, Douglas touched the hearts of all who knew him and will be remembered for the warmth and compassion he shared throughout his life.

Douglas leaves to cherish his memory his siblings: Carolyn (Joe) Jackson, Gale Hall, Darryl Hall, Paul Hall, and Tracy (Keith) Reed: his children: Jocqua (Candace) Kirksey, Ra' Sean (Tiffany) Williams, and Tahara (Len Dell) English; three stepchildren; nine grandchildren; fourteen step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
