Graveside Service for
Derrick Ramun Wilson, age 28, was held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Mt. Mariah
Baptist Church in Lisman, AL with Pastor Barney Holcombe officiating.

Derrick Wilson, Sr. was born on September 2, 1993 to the late Larry W. Wilson, Sr. and Jacqueline Wilson at Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital. He departed this earthly life on March 24, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandfather.

Derrick accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was baptized at Emmanuel Temple Church in Byram, MS. He had a great love for music and played the drums with great enthusiasm.

Derrick leaves to cherish his loving memories: his son, Derrick R. Wilson, Jr.; mother, Jacqueline Wilson; grandmother, Vivian Smith; one brother, Larry W. Wilson, Jr. (Markita); one sister, Jacquelene Ruffin; one nephew Jeremiah Ruffin; one niece, Janiyah Ruffin; two very special young ladies whom he loved dearly, Akhira Cottingham and Kannaiyah Pearson; and a host of other loved ones and friends.
