Service for Davionte' Ni'ke Prestage, age 26, was held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Shady Grove Community Park with Pastor Randy Philon officiating. Interment followed in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Davionte' Ni'ke Prestage was born on December 8, 1995 to Stevie Prestage and Jamie Ruffin. He departed this life on February 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Johnson of Flatwood, AL.

Ni'ke, as he was known by most, joined Shady Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Southern Choctaw High School. He began his career in the oilfield shortly after high school. Ni'ke had a passion for outdoor activities, cooking, and cars. He was a very respectful young man, a personal chef, an awesome father, and one who truly loved his family.

Ni'ke leaves to cherish his memories: his significant other, Alivia "Lex" Howard of Shady Grove, AL; two sons, Chase and Cade Prestage; his mother, Jamie (Maurice) Ruffin of Flatwood, AL; his father, Stevie (Pamela) Prestage of Matherville, MS; siblings, Jada Prestage of Mobile, AL, Stevionte Prestage, Jaleen Prestage, Travion Napier, and Landon Ruffin, all of Flatwood, AL; three stepsisters, Michelle Parker of
Matherville, MS, Tiashia Ruffin, ShaVirsia Mitchell, both of Mobile, AL; one stepbrother, Devin Parker of Matherville, MS; maternal grandparents, James and China Prestage of Melvin, AL; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
