Danny Wade Mosley, Sr. was born on January 14, 1963 in Butler, Alabama to the late Willie James Mosley and the late Dorothy Mae (Davis) Mosley. He departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2026 in Lisman, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 38 years the late Janice Butler Mosley; his beloved son, the late Keith Mosley; five brothers; and two sisters.

At an early age, Danny joined Salem Baptist Church of Butler, Alabama.  He was a talented and well-known residential carpenter in his community for over 40 years. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors, and anyone in need. His kindness and dedication touched the lives of so many people, and his loss has left a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Danny Mosley, Jr. (Tangela) of Meridian, MS; two daughters, Juslisa Mosley (Derrick) of Demopolis, AL and Dantrell Mosley of Meridian, MS; ten grandsons, DeAndrew Mosley of Huntsville, AL, Keandre Mosley, Derrick Hill, Jr., and Ayden Hill of Demopolis, AL, Keith Mosley of Tuscaloosa, AL, Kemarion Mosley of Pennington, AL, Andrew Jeremiah Mosley, Danny Mosley III, Matthew Mosley, and Jamir Mosley of Meridian, MS; four granddaughters, Alexia Mosley of Starkville, MS, Jaden Mosley and Jakira Mosley of Meridian, MS, and Shaniya Tanks of Tuscaloosa, AL; one brother, Chester Mosley of Butler, AL; three sisters, Willie Mae Maye, Jacquelyne Howard, and Glynis Keeton of Butler, AL., a host of nieces and nephews, and many close beloved friends, all of whom he loved dearly.
