Graveside Service for Dannie Lee Frost, age 78, was held Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Kaiser Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL with Rev. Lewis Jefferson officiating.

Dannie Lee Frost was born on February 17, 1943 to the late Prince and Mamie Lee Frost in Gilbertown, AL. He departed this life and entered eternal rest on April 8, 2021 at the Elmore Community Hospital in Wetumpka, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Frost, Sr. and Earnest Frost, Sr.; and a granddaughter, Karen Frost.

Dannie began his public service at age 14. He was first employed by the General Box Company. After that employment ended, he worked clearing right-of-way for power lines. He later gained employment with Marathon Paper Mill (Georgia Pacific) in Pennington, AL. He retired after 40 years with the company. Dannie was a member of Queen Victoria Lodge#216 in Gilbertown, AL for over 40 years. He served as a Jr. Warden.

Dannie is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edna Frost; sister, Charlie F. (L.C.) Foster of Albany, NY; daughter, Zina Ridgeway of Butler, AL; son, Anthony (Carolyn) Frost ofWetumpka, AL; four grandchildren, Kisha Frost, Terrance Q. Frost (Ashley), Kim (Christopher) Williams, all of Wetumpka, AL and Raven Ridgeway of Butler, AL; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relative and friends.
