Service for Curtis Antonio Dixon, age 39, was held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Landrum Cemetery in Sweet Water, AL.

Curtis Antonia Dixon, affectionately known as "Whoomp/Dino", was born on March 30, 1983 in Marengo County to the late Curtis "Ram" Cowan and Claudia "Claudine" Mae Dixon. He was called home from labor to reward on December 7, 2022 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Cowan and Claudia Dixon.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memories: a very loving and devoted wife of sixteen years, Tolesha Coleman Dixon of Nanafalia, AL; two step daughters, Kadeshia and Lynia Coleman of Butler, AL; one step grandson, Keith Coleman of Butler, AL; a very special bonus dad, Charles B. Johnson of Nanafalia, Al; one sister, Patricia (Joseph) Marshall of Huntsville, Al; one brother, Larry (Toni) Cowan of Atlanta, GA; one god sister, Lakeisha McIntosh of Morvin, AL; one god brother, Daniel Etheredge of Nanafalia, AL; two sisters-in-law, Printella Jackson of Barlow Bend, AL and Samantha (Jonathan) Ruffin of Butler, Al; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
