Graveside Service for Billy Ridgeway, Jr., age 48, was held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Gerald Goodman officiating.

Billy Ridgeway Jr. was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1972 in Butler, AL to the late Billy Ridgeway, Sr. and Florence Ridgeway. He entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Wetumpka, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ridgeway, Sr. who he loved dearly.

Billy confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. Mary's United Methodist Church. He was a 1991 graduate of Choctaw County High
School. Billy honorably served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard. His military service played a large part in shaping him into the upstanding man that he was. He was employed with ShawnTech Communications. He loved his work, and his co-workers held a special place in his heart.

Billy was a hard-working man. He was intelligent and loved to learn new things. He was kind, compassionate, and selfless. There was
nothing he would not do for someone in need. He was very family-oriented and loved each of his family members deeply. He was a dependable father, who always picked up the phone, day or night. He  was an exceptional role model to his children and grandchildren. In his free time, he loved to enjoy a good cigar and "a finger" of whiskey. He was truly one of a kind and he will be missed deeply. Billy was
a loving husband, father, papa, and friend to all.

He is survived by his wife, Nichole McLaughlin; his mother, Florence Ridgeway; his children, Chantz, Que, Christina, and Nicholas Green; brother, Calvin Ridgeway; two sisters, Prentonia Ridgeway-Davis, Tanya Ridgeway; his grandchildren, Xavier Parker, Mason, Khaleesi Ash, and Kaydence Griesby; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
