Celebration of Life Service for Sis. Betty Jean Wallace was held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Little Walker C.M.E Church, 220 Linder Road, Butler, Alabama with Rev. Vernon Burroughs, Officiating. Elder Curtis L. Russell, Sr., Pastor. Interment, Little Walker C.M.E Church Cemetery, Butler, Alabama.
Sister Betty Jean Wallace was born on April 10, 1947, to the late Ladresser Ruffin Dubose and Clinton Dubose, Sr. She was called home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Ochsner Choctaw General in Butler, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two children, Terence Bishop and Marlo Wallace; her two sisters, Paulene DuBose and Yvonne DuBose; her five brothers, Charles DuBose, Clinton DuBose, Jr., WR DuBose, Johnny Lee DuBose, and Bobby C. DuBose.
Betty accepted Christ at an early age and joined Little Walker C.M.E. Church, where she remained a faithful member, until her death.
Betty was a caring person with a sweet spirit.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband of fifty-three years, Frank Wallace of Butler, Alabama; one sister, Mary Francis Jones (Ed) of Gary, Indiana; one brother, Billy Chaney (Lena) of Mobile, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
