Service for Annette Kirksey Wallace, age 59, was held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Toxey, AL with Pastor Kennedy R. Gray officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Annette was born on June 7, 1963 to the late Marvin and Rachel Kirksey. She was called to take her rest on June 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Rachel Kirksey, and a sister, Juanita Kirksey Parker.

Annette confessed Christ at an early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was employed for many years as a Postal Clerk with the United States Postal Service. She was also a licensed Cosmetologist and an Avon representative for more than 35 years. She loved meeting
and talking to people.

Annette leaves to cherish her memory: a husband, Danny Wallace; two children, Shaunya and Gerard Wallace, both of Tuscaloosa, AL; four bonus children, Ticondria, Latoria, Marilyn, and David Wallace, all of Quitman, MS; two sisters, Audrey (Lee) Hicks of St. Louis, MO, Martha (Henry) Davis of Coffeeville,AL; three brothers, Maurice (Latonia) Kirksey of Slidell, LA, Mark Kirksey of Pennington, AL, Marvin, Jr. (Sabrena) Kirksey of Silas, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
