Alice Virginia
Osborne Taylor
Sep 25, 1944 — Apr 17, 2026
Coffeeville
Alice Virginia Osborne Taylor was born on September 25, 1944, to the late T. B. and Alice Jackson Osborne. She entered eternal rest on April 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Robert Osborne, Hattie Cunningham, Richard Osborne, and Nell Marie Jordan.
Mrs. Alice Taylor confessed holiness and ran for Jesus a long time. She joined Coffeeville Church of God in Christ where she served in many areas. She held the position of Sunday School Superintendent, where she served faithfully until her health declined. Her faith was unwavering. She was a pillar in her community: supporting others through her food bank giveaway and community Thanksgiving dinner distribution, which included delivery to the sick and shut in. Her Thanksgiving giveaway was special and meant so much to so many. She was an amazing seamstress, talented cook and cake baker.
She attended Clark County Training School Class of 1962. She was married to Mr. Young Thomas Taylor Jr (our recently departed father) for 53 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories: eight children, Cornelius (Tonya) Osborne, Gwinnette (Ray) Dixon, John (Lula) Osborne, Renee Mitchell, Selena Hill, Martina Taylor, Viryonka (Andre) Howell and Roderick Taylor; five siblings, Willie B. Osborne, Eddie Lee (Mamie) Osborne, Charles (Cassandra) Osborne, and Shirley (Horrance) Scruggs; twenty-one grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
